I’m taking on The Legacy Challenge to support Australian veterans’ families
It’s really important to me to give back to the partners and children whose loved ones have made the greatest sacrifice for our country. That’s why I’ve got my boots on the ground, and I’ve committed to The Legacy Challenge for 11 days straight in November.
I'm raising vital funds to help Legacy families in need.
My Challenge finishes on Remembrance Day, the 11th of November, when we get to honour those who died to protect our nation.
Please donate today! I hope I can count on your support!
And I’d love it if you’d join me in doing The Legacy Challenge and helping me spread the word about the good work Legacy does for our veterans’ families.
Thank you in advance for donating to my Challenge - it means a lot.
Hi, I am making a self donation (Donating to my own Legacy account). I tried to do Legacy Challenge as much as possible. But just a few days before the exam, I got really sick due to diarrhoea and food poisoning. My situation got so worse that I had to defer my exam and needed to head home. But yet, I tried my best to do the Legacy Challenge as much as I physically could. Since I have no reliable person to ask for donations, I walked to save Uber, taxi and other transport fees and I am donating the money that I saved by walking instead of using transports to the Legacy Challenge. I hope that I was able to make some credible contribution to this challenge that will at least help with one or two days of grocery for an Australian Defence Force member and his/her family and friends. I tried my level best with the Legacy Challenge but couldn't complete it for suddenly falling sick from diarrhoea and food poisoning that even rendered my ability to study. But sometimes things happen that are unexpected and unfortunately, we have no control over those things. I am an international student from Bangladesh studying Aerospace and Electrical engineering at Queensland University of Technology. I still have two years of my degree left. I am looking forward to do better things for the Australian Defence Force in future and hope that I will contribute much better in the fundraising programs like the Legacy Challenge and the Runarmy in the upcoming years.
