I’m taking on The Legacy Challenge to support our veterans’ families
After dedicating years of my life to service, and being married to a defence member who deployed overseas numerous times, I’ve witnessed the profound impact of loss on families. I’ve seen children lose their parents and families endure the heavy burden of grief.
Families grieve not only for those who have given their lives but also for those who have sacrificed their health—both mental and physical—after their service. This is why I am deeply committed to supporting the partners, families, and children of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
I am raising vital funds to help Legacy families in need. My Challenge concludes on Remembrance Day, the 11th of November, a day when we honor those who died to protect our nation.
