I’m taking on The Legacy Challenge to support our veterans’ families
With three generations of service persons in our family, I understand firsthand the importance of Legacy. This is Bert Ducie, 16 years of age, chest out and proud; not long before the order to run onto the beaches at Anzac Cove. Headstrong, passionate, fiercly loyal to King and Country, he committed himself to his young nation.
Hundreds of thousands of young men and women have followed in the footseps of the AIF, many with family and loved ones desperate for a safe return. I see every day, the importance of giving back to the partners and children whose loved ones have made the greatest sacrifice for our country.
For that reason, I’ve committed to get my boots on the ground and do The Legacy Challenge for 11 days straight in November.
I'm raising vital funds to help Legacy families in need.
My Challenge finishes on Remembrance Day, the 11th of November, when we get to honour those who died to protect our nation.
